government district berlin

on my last trip to Berlin (2 hours away from Dresden) I took time to shot some architectural stuff. Here we are directly there where the politics are made - at the government district. before 1989, there was nothing - only border and the so called Todesstreifen (Death Strip).

All these modern buildings are built the last 35 years beside the old Reichstags Building and the river Spree.
